Strategically located near aerospace/defense companies and L.A.’s tech hub, our programs allow students to innovate in Los Angeles while forming vital industry connections. International students enrolled in our STEM-designated programs may be eligible for additional Optional Practical Training.

Outcomes

99% of graduates from the class of 2023 had a positive outcome (i.e. jobs, professional school, or year of service) within six months of completing their graduate program.

Working closely with Career and Professional Development (CPD), students have access to over 525,000 companies annually through Handshake, LMU’s online career management portal. Learn how CPD serves advanced-degree students during their program and beyond graduation.

The Graduate Admission Process

1. Review the Application Deadline of Your Desired Program
Generally, applications completed after a deadline are reviewed on a space-available basis.

2. Start your Online Application
Begin your application, you will be asked to create an account and password.

3. Submit all Required Documentation
The following items are required for all graduate programs:

  • Online Application
  • $50 Non-refundable Application Fee
  • Official Transcripts (one copy) of all colleges and universities attended

4. Admission Decision Announced
Generally, applicants are notified of their admission 2 to 4 weeks after a deadline has passed.

Investing in your Education

LMU provides financial aid options for graduate students to help reduce the cost of their degree. Financial support comes in various forms including grants/scholarships, loans, and work-based funding.

Domestic students (U.S. Citizens) are encouraged to promptly complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using LMU’s Federal School Code 001234. While international students are ineligible for Federal Student Aid, they can still qualify for LMU's merit-based grants, scholarships, and work-based funding.
