Tuition Remission
Tuition Remission for Faculty/Staff Members
Subject to conditions set forth in the policy, full-time faculty, full-time, regular staff members and full-time, term staff members are eligible to receive full tuition remission for undergraduate or graduate courses taken towards:
- Completion of one undergraduate and/or one graduate degree,
- Completion of a credential/certificate program offered by one of the six University Schools/Colleges, or
- Under non-degree status.
Tuition Remission for Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner and Eligible Dependent Children
Subject to conditions set forth in the policy, the spouse/registered domestic partner and eligible dependent child(ren) of a full-time faculty, full-time, regular staff member or full-time, term staff member is/are eligible for full tuition remission for undergraduate or graduate courses taken towards:
- Completion of one undergraduate and/or one graduate degree,
- Completion of a credential/certificate program offered by one of the six University Schools/Colleges, or
- Under non-degree status.
Limitations of Tuition Remission Benefits
Faculty or staff receiving tuition remission benefits may not receive funds that are only for tuition from any other source (e.g., federal, state, university, or outside source) that, when combined with tuition remission benefits, exceed the cost of tuition.
