Current LMU Undergraduate Students:
Earn Your Master's Degree in Just One Year.
Loyola Marymount University's Accelerated Master's Program (AMP) for current LMU undergraduate students offers a faster and more affordable way to earn a graduate degree. As an LMU undergraduate, you will begin taking graduate-level courses during your senior year and complete your master’s degree just one year after earning your bachelor’s.
This means you’ll save time, reduce costs, and strengthen your career options—without leaving the LMU community you already know and trust.
Why Choose AMP?

            - Save time. Finish your undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years instead of six. You’ll move into your career or advanced studies sooner.
- Lower your costs. By taking graduate courses during your senior year, you reduce the number of additional credits needed after graduation. That shortens your time in school and cuts your tuition.
- Stay in your community. Continue learning with the faculty, classmates, and mentors who already know your goals. There’s no disruption—just continued progress.
- Strengthen your qualifications. A master’s degree can open new doors, boost your career options, and position you for leadership.
- Simplify the process. With AMP, you apply while completing your undergraduate degree, meaning you avoid the extra time and uncertainty of applying separately to graduate programs after you graduate.
Is AMP Right for You?

LMU's Accelerated Master's Program is a great fit if you:
- Want to earn a master's degree in less time for less money.
- Are confident in your academic and professional direction.

- Are ready for the challenge of graduate-level coursework during senior year.
